AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA
A book that will expand your mind beyond what you ever thought possible. it sure did this for me. autobiography has now sold upwards of 4 million copies worldwide and is a renowned classic in the field. the founder of apple, steve jobs, first read this master-work when he was 17 and then read it every year until he left his body. it's well known that, on jobs' request, copies were handed out in a special presentation case at the end of his memorial service in 2011. renowned as being 'the only book that steve had on his ipad', this exalted position in the life of apple's founder led to yogananda being billed as; 'the trillion dollar yogi'. it's also well known that beatle, george harrison, was introduced in 1966, to autobiography by famous indian sitarist, ravi shankar, and was deeply influenced by it. shankar said; 'that was where his interest in vedic culture and indian-ness began'. harrision ensured that there were ample copies available at his house to hand out to guests. elvis presley was turned to autobiography by his hair dresser turned guru, larry geller, in 1965 and continued to study it throughout the 1970's. he left a copy in his room at the sheraton south hotel, nashville, on 21 january 1977 which was sold at auction in california in 2014 (see below). In terms of mind-expansion and a full-on deep dive into 'the world beyond the veil', this is truly essential.

'Kriya yoga is a simple, psychophysiological method by which human blood is decarbonated and recharged with oxygen. The atoms of this extra oxygen are transmuted into life current to rejuvenate the brain and spinal centres. By stopping the accumulation of venous blood, the yogi is able to lessen or prevent the decay of tissues. The advanced yogi transmutes his cells into energy.
